With over a billion users, today’s Internet is arguably the most successful human artifact ever created. The Future Internet, an initiative driven by the European Union, has become a prime research focus of STI International and the Service Web 3.0 project. In order to explain, promote, and attract new contributors, we created a video to be viewed by stakeholders, who may be non-experts, in a new generation Internet. The video outlines the basic themes of the European Union’s Future Internet initiative. These include: an Internet of Services, where services are ubiquitous; an Internet of Things where in principle every physical object becomes an online addressable resource; a Mobile Internet where 24/7 seamless connectivity over multiple devices is the norm; and the need for semantics in order to meet the challenges presented by the dramatic increase in the scale of content and users.

Paymentsolutions im Internet

Auf netzwertig gibt es einen Beitrag zum Thema Micropayment.

Das Bezahlungssystem im Internet müsste:
Einfach, sicher, schnell, weiter verbreitet und kleinst Beträge zulassen.

Früher war es für jedermann klar, dass wenn man etwas haben will, dafür zahlen muss.
Sogar der Zugang ins Internets war kostenpflichtig… eine Flatrat war Luxus ;-)

Wie es mir scheint, ist heute eine everything-is-for-free Generation herangewachsen. Musik, Video, Film, Zeitschriften, News, Content allgemein muss nicht mehr bezahlt werden..  (!?)

Aber ich bin sicher, wenn sich ein solch einfaches Zahlungssystem entlich mal durchsetzen könnte, wären viele bereit für Inhalt zu zahlen.
(Pay per SMS funktioniert für Klingeltöne & Co und vorallem für die Telcos selber. Für Drittanbieter ist es eher weniger lukrativ da ca. 3/4 des Betrags abwandern.)

Sidenote: Wird sich die Wirtschaft allgemein einpendeln und in der Mitte finden?

Wird es dann nicht mehr so einfach sein, schnell extrem hohe Gewinne zu erzielen? Auf allen Sektoren, auch Banken (Maximal Bonus etc.)?
